The Problem
Hisaar came to Madvertising as a product, not a brand. A protective face mask with no name, no identity, no positioning, and no story in the middle of a market flooded with generic alternatives competing purely on price. The window to launch was narrow. Everything needed to be built from scratch, fast, and it needed to mean something in a market that was exhausted and overwhelmed.
Strategy & Flow
The strategy started with a single question: what does protection mean to a Pakistani consumer beyond the functional? The answer was cultural, not commercial.
01
Defining Identity
Naming. We landed on "Hisaar". Urdu for protection rooted in prayers and faith. A name that carried emotional weight before the product was even seen.
02
Visual Design and Prototyping
Identity. The visual identity, colour palette, and packaging were built entirely around the cultural meaning of the name premium, trustworthy, and distinctly local in a market dominated by generic imported packaging.
03
Strategy and Implement
Launch strategy. Communication rolled out with the brand story at the centre not the product features. Every touchpoint reinforced the same cultural truth.
The Result
The Result
250,000 units sold daily at peak. A nationally recognised premium brand built in three months from a product with no name, no story, and no identity. Proof that cultural insight is the most powerful differentiator in a crowded market.
